Planning custom school uniform polos?
Schools, uniform dealers and apparel brands can request a manufacturing quotation for school polos with their approved colors, fit and logo. Start with the current dress code and the person who approves the garment. Families should follow their school’s uniform purchasing instructions.
Approve each wearer group
Record permitted colors, sleeve lengths, collar and button details for each grade or staff group. Provide an approved color reference and the authorized crest or logo, with decoration dimensions and placement. A color name alone does not define an exact fabric or thread match.
Separate the quantity lines
List polo pieces by style, color and size, with youth and adult measurement charts identified separately. Quote fleece jackets or other companion outerwear on their own specification and quantity lines. Ask how the minimum applies to each style and color; the total across a mixed collection does not establish the minimum for one garment.
Review fit and repeat orders
Agree fabric, measurements, tolerances and sample approval before bulk production. If wash performance matters to the program, agree what evaluation is needed. Keep the approved sample and color references for later student or staff additions, then reconfirm availability, matching, minimums, price and timing for a reorder.

Peak Charter Academy’s dress-code page in Apex lists different polo color choices for K–5 and grades 6–8. Wake Preparatory Academy’s uniform guidelines specify approved solid shirt colors and a left-chest school patch or embroidered logo. Keep a sample review record
Identify whether each chart describes body measurements or the finished garment. A flat chest width and a body chest circumference are different measurements. Record the agreed measuring points, units and tolerances, then review the sample against that same chart. Keep youth and adult specifications separate.
For school polos, record garment, color and crest approval separately from purchasing authorization. Use the review record to track open changes and the sample version to approve.

Design the placement, not just the artwork.
For custom T-shirts and polo shirts with your logo, send the original artwork and front, back and sleeve views. Mark the size of each design and its distance from a seam.
Printing & embroidery
State the desired finish and share the artwork colors and dimensions. We review the proposed application with the selected fabric. Confirm the actual result on a sample, including small text and fine detail.
Private labels
Include neck labels, size labels and care-label wording with placement instructions. Confirm the wording for the final fabric and destination market before production.
Packing & identification
List hang tags, SKU or barcode labels, individual packing and carton grouping. Keep quantities by size and color consistent across the order sheet and packing instructions.

Can you make T-shirts and polo shirts with my own logo?
Yes. Send your artwork, garment reference, desired print or embroidery finish and placement dimensions. Fabric, construction and application details are confirmed during development and sample review.
What fabric details should I provide for a polo or T-shirt?
Fabric maker RT Tekstil describes piqué as commonly used for polos and jersey as common in T-shirts. Blue G, a Pakistan-based fabric supplier, lists both knit types; confirm availability for your order with SB. Share the preferred fiber composition, knit, approximate weight in GSM (grams per square meter), color and a fabric reference or sample if available. We will review the sourcing, minimum, price and finish for your brief before production.
What is the minimum order for private label shirts?
The minimum depends on style, fabric, colorways and customization. Send quantities by size and color so we can confirm the applicable minimum and price for your project.
Can I request a sample before a bulk order?
Ask for the sample scope, cost, revision process and estimated timing with your inquiry. Some samples can be completed in 15 days including shipping; confirm the scope, destination, charges and timeline for your project first. Review fabric, fit, stitching, artwork and labels before approving the production specification. Revisions and bulk production need separate planning.
How is a school polo order priced?
Send the approved garment specification and separate quantities by style, color and size, plus your receiving destination. Ask us to confirm the applicable minimum, sample cost, bulk price and shipping for that breakdown. School approval, fit approval and purchasing authorization should be recorded before production; a school color name or a combined collection total is not enough for a final quotation.
Can I use a standard U.S. size chart for custom polos?
Use a chart agreed for your specific garment and wearer group. Confirm whether it lists body measurements or finished-garment measurements, and include units, measuring points and tolerances. Adult and youth labels such as S or M should have separate specifications. Review the actual fit sample before approving bulk production; a size label alone does not establish the fit.
Can I start without a tech pack?
Yes. Start with clear reference images or a garment and a list of required changes. Measurements, materials and construction details will still need to be agreed before production.
